This last weekend I had the pleasure of assisting Jason Abbey teaching Intro to Massage Cupping. I always learn more when I TA a class. Sunday AM he had an emergency (which never happens) and he trusted me with his students to take over and teach class. It was such a great experience and I did pretty well if I do say so myself. We covered diaphragm massage cupping, pin & stretch of iliacus and diaphragm and anterior leg work. Quite an accomplishment!

So excited to see cupping marks on some of the Olympic athletes. My specialty is massage cupping. Interested? My clients love it! They feel deeper relaxation and more lasting benefits from their massage.

I want to thank these gorgeous souls who participated. These women were willing to bare not just their bodies but a little bit of their hearts for this project. I asked them to write down something another person has said to them in their lives about their bodies that impacted their self confidence negatively. Then I had them write down something they know to be true of themselves that has nothing to do with physicality. I loved the moment of seeing their faces and demeanors change when they held up the second card. They are all beautiful. period. I hope that for at least those couple hours, they knew it to be true.
