I realize I haven’t updated everyone and I apologize but it has not at all been my focus. My focus has been sleeping, taking my supplements, trying to keep a focus on fluid intake and then basically more sleep so I can heal. Sleep has been very broken, but frequent.
This has been awful.
I can’t imagine what I’d be going through without the regimen of supplements that I have next to my bed.

My husband has been absolutely amazing and a lifesaver. Keeping the house running, even took off work to care for me and keep the kids out of danger of getting sick. He has been brewing my teas, trying hard to feed me(bless him), and leaving flowers by our bed while I’m sleeping. I’m so blessed.

Food hasn’t been an option for me for 3 days now. Nice way to lose lbs quickly though.
I got my cough to dissipate in just 2 days. The fever has been the worst. I don’t have a ton of energy. Feel like when I walk I’m dragging weights behind me. Out of breath quick. I’m hanging in there though.

My body is doing exactly what it was designed to do; which is HEAL.

And even with all that being said, I STILL don’t regret not taking the 💉💪🏼

Man. When it rains it pours.

I hate that I’m even having to make this post but I have been deathly ill since yesterday evening. It got so bad that I went and got a test a few minutes ago that revealed I have, in fact, been hit by the Covid truck.

Now I’ve had this miserable illness three times and all three times have been a radically different experience for me. First was no big deal. 24 hrs and back on my game. Second time brought me to the brink of certain death. So I am admittedly frightened to see how bad this is going to get and judging by how I feel right now, I’m not very hopeful that I’ll be in the shop for the next few days.

While I do have some tricks up my sleeve that my last encounter taught me and I’m confident I can shorten it greatly, because I work with a lot of medically fragile clients, I cannot take the risk of exposing them to this. So I will not be reopening like I had hoped tomorrow. I will be waiting until I am 100% symptom free to open my doors again.

I promise to try to keep everyone updated at least once a day if I can gather the mental wherewithal, but for now, I just need to take my supplements and rest. I don’t have a ton of waiting orders to send, thankfully, I got most of them done before the holiday but if you ordered near the holiday, your shipments may be a little delayed. Trust me when I say that is for YOUR safety.

I love yall. Send up a few prayers for me if you think about it. This has not been a fun ride and I am not even 12 hours into it🙈

First, I want to just say thank you. When life throws our family curve balls(and I’m convinced they’ll just keep coming), you all are so good about giving me grace so I can prioritize my family.

Love is the single most healing; most powerful thing in our universe. And when one of my tribe needs my love to carry them through a struggle, that’s what I’ll always choose. Because while work is important and I love what I do, it doesn’t mean an awful lot at the end of the day unless your people are ok.

So I just want to thank you all. For your patience, for your understanding, and your grace during a time where I was needed more at home than I ever could be at the shop.

Lastly, I’m very excited to get back into the swing of things next week. I’m ready to get back to what I know inside and out, full throttle, which is the business I’ve built from the ground up. I genuinely can’t wait to see the familiar local faces that brighten my day when they walk through the doors! And I also want to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th with your family and friends.

Today I’d like to talk to you about something I learned after walking through every parent’s worst nightmare. Fear has a voice. It whispers, “What if this is the thing that saves them?”

So you buy another supplement.
Read another study.
Watch another documentary.
Join another group.
Order another product.

Yesterday I talked with a client who said they were eating something like 40 apricot seeds a day. Apricot seeds contain amygdalin, which your body converts into cyanide, and taking that many can significantly increase your risk of cyanide toxicity. These decisions come from a place of desperation. And that’s when things get dangerous.

But I also understand their mindset: “what if the one thing you don’t try is the one thing that could have made the difference?”

I’ve lived there. For years.
When Gray was diagnosed, I didn’t sleep. I researched until my eyes burned. I chased answers because I believed I couldn’t afford to miss one. And when your child’s life hangs in the balance, that kind of desperation feels completely justified.
But somewhere along the way, something changed.
My fear became discernment. I stopped asking, “What if this works?”
And I started asking:
Can we prove it?
Is it safe?
Does it actually make sense?
That shift changes everything.
I believe in natural healing now more than ever. But I also believe that desperate people deserve truth, not marketing. They deserve products that contain what they claim to contain. They deserve to know whether there are contaminants, pesticides, heavy metals, or residual solvents hiding in what they’re putting into already exhausted bodies.

They deserve evidence. That’s why I care so deeply about lab testing. Not because I lost faith in plants. It’s because I have lost a lot of faith in the people who work with the plants! If every new treatment feels like something you can’t afford to miss, lock eyes with me for a minute. Let the rest of the world become the blur it usually is. Take a breath. We’ll sort through the noise together. Not from a place of fear, but from a place of science, hope, wisdom, and discernment. You shouldn’t have to watch out for predators during such a terrifying time, but in this world? You do.

So I have always believed in transparency. Not just the victories, but the mistakes. The difficult lessons. The things I wish I had known before I learned them the hard way. I’ve caught hate over sharing it all. Criticism. But also love and more “Thank you”s than I can count. And the silver lining to that is by all of you seeing us stumble, you know to watch your step if you or your family ever find yourselves in a nightmare like ours did. And that’s the beautiful part about sharing our story. So I have no regrets over baring it all.

Everything we’ve done since the first clear scan has been an attempt to honor a promise I made in prayer for my daughter’s life. And today, a groundbreaking and historical partnership was signed, sealed & delivered. One that will far outlive ME and will benefit families of pediatric and adult cancer for generations to come.

When we started treating naturally, I was GREEN. (Stupid pun intended😉) I didn’t know what cannabinoids were. I didn’t know what terpenes were. I had no idea what potency should be. And I wish I would have. I definitely should have.

Gray may be in remission, but I’m still learning and evolving today. There are things I can admit today that I could have done better for her, even though she won.

Through Grays story, we have proven that Natural doesn’t mean less effective. And we have learned that natural doesn’t automatically mean safe. And I’ll be the first person to admit that. The biggest problem with treating naturally is the huge lack of regulation. That ends today. For everyone.

After finally learning how lab testing worked, I submitted samples of the oils we had been using. When the results came back, I honestly didn’t really know how to interpret them. So I took them to my mentor, who served on the board for Phoenix Tears and who has graciously spent countless hours teaching me over the last few months. He looked at the reports and immediately told me the testing looked subpar at best to him.

My first question was, “Then why did it work? Why is Gray the only one of 21 children walking around without a brain tumor where there once was a brain tumor?”. I wasn’t ready for his answer and it has stayed with me every single day since.(I am directly quoting so don’t shoot the messenger over the language. We are all adults here. And if we aren’t, we probably shouldn’t be on social media🙃)

Those words didn’t make me feel better. They stung. But they did make me realize something I needed to hear.

Gray survived. Yes. We were unbelievably blessed. But I still could have done better by her. And that realization hurt. It still does. But it also lit a FIRE under me to make sure that something changes. That every family from here on out won’t need to wonder if what they’re giving their loved one is consistent and ALL of their chosen natural supplements can be verified and tested. At any time.

Because testing doesn’t just tell you whether something passed or failed. It teaches you. Every report showed me where I needed to improve my product once I took over. Every report made the next one better. And it’s why my testing came out beautifully in the end. I’m not someone who provides medicine for families all over. It’s enough pressure to just provide for Gray. But I knew immediately that if I approached this the right way, I could provide SOMETHING that families all over treating this way deserve. And that something is PROTECTION.

As I learned more, I discovered something I think families also deserve to know. When a company says a product is “lab tested,” that does not necessarily mean it received full panel testing. Companies choose which tests they pay for. Some only test potency. Some skip pesticides. Some skip residual solvents. Some skip heavy metals. Some skip terpene profiles. And unless you know what you’re looking at, you’d never know the difference.
I even found a licensed facility where I live that admitted they skipped certain testing simply because it costs more. That was eye opening. And a little maddening!

If families are spending thousands of dollars on natural medicine/supplements, shouldn’t they have the ability to independently verify what they’re buying? I believe they should. It certainly doesn’t harm anyone by being sure. And it might save someone from some harm. So I reached out to SC Labs and I told them Gray’s story. OUR story. During our meeting, I explained what it’s like to become a caregiver overnight.
