PSA: Even if you don’t noticeably burn and peel, sun exposure CAN affect your spray tan! These photos were taken for educational purposes to give a visual of what can happen.

This member of our team had sun exposure on her chest, shoulders and arms but only experienced minimal peeling on the shoulder area. We waited two weeks after her sun exposure to spray and test the result. Although she was past the peeling stage and followed all prep, you could start to see the results from the sun exposure after just one day post-tan. The uneven results continued to worsen as the days continued.

Friendly reminder to always wear your SPF! If you have had sun exposure any time leading up to your appointment, please share that with us. We want to make sure your tan turns out great!

A spray tan should not be one size fits all. Each of our tan solutions are uniquely created for each of our clients!

First Rinse Tips:

▫️Rinse with only warm water until the water runs clear.
▫️Feel free to use your hands to lightly rub on your skin to make sure all bronzers come off.
▫️Wait 24 hours before using soap. DHA is still developing at this time.
▫️Pat dry instead of rubbing your towel against your skin.

It’s no secret that most of us wash our face and hands more often than the rest of our body. This causes our tan to fade faster in these areas. Our custom touch up spray is all you need to keep those areas glowing! Simply mist and blend. Each bottle is made specifically for you based on the solution we use for your tan. Ask us about it at your next appointment!

Tan tip! Avoid any skin to skin contact prior to your first rinse. Loose clothing with long sleeves and pants are always recommended…even if you’re sleeping in your tan! We also offer complimentary finishing powder with every tan to help keep you dry and comfortable.
