Nails 101 👩🏻‍🏫 Let’s talk acrylic. There are a lot of misconceptions with acrylic , the main one being that acrylic ruins your nails. This is NOT true. Acrylic itself does not ruin your nails. What DOES ruin your nails is improper filing, overusing the drill, picking and peeling nails off, improper removal , etc. There is NOT one product service that is better for your nails than the other and that includes builder gel and gel x. This client decided that she wanted to soak off her acrylic set, trim her natural nail, and apply builder gel to her natural nail for strength. Her original set of acrylics was done March 20th and she has had 3 fill-ins on that set . After taking the acrylics off, her nails had grown strong and healthy. No flaking, breaking, or cracking. Her words “my nails have never looked this healthy” . This was done with acrylic. Proper and safe nail care was performed for each service. I do understand that some people simply do not like acrylic and that’s okay ! I offer acrylic, TAP gel, builder gel, and will do gel x. My point is just that your natural nails CAN grow safely, strong , and healthy using acrylic just as any other product service 💅

Every day is nail day ! A couple of sets from the weekend. First set we did a fill in on her prom nails from 4 weeks ago ! The second set we did an acrylic overlay on her natural nails and finished with a few frenchies and flowers 💅
