You think it is not effective until you have not done it for awhile…then you hop back on - whew. Not a marathon but it is a start. Keep pushing

Narrow squat with elevated heels using the D ring on cable. Helps with strengthening hips and legs to pick up grandchildren❤️❤️. Functional fitness is the way to go💪🏽

Injury doesn’t mean the end of progress - it means time to pivot. No more marathons or kickboxing, substitute compound cardio/weights instead.

Join me to learn about my fitness and wellness journey. I would also love to hear about your journey as well or goals you would like to achieve to live a more vital (poetic) life. I was not always into fitness or quite frankly honoring the temple in which I live (my body). I wish I would have taken an interest at a younger age. Stay tuned and I hope you may have a few take aways from the information I share.

We need to make kindness and love much “louder” than all of the hate and anger. The negative is becoming too strong and too many are being sucked into it. We need to be ❤️💪🏽

While I cannot commit to a totally dry January, I can commit to cutting way back on my alcohol consumption. My friend Kae G. Wagner, author of this quick read Stop Over Drinking, shows you how to assess your current level of over-drinking and provides you with the "flip the switch" method to decrease your consumption and how to live a much clearer life.
You can find Stop Over Drinking on Amazon.com. I personally needed a reset. I work-out every day but was reversing the benefits of my exercise by a daily drinking habit. I am looking forward to utilizing her flip the switch method to lower alcohol consumption and up by fitness game in 2025. Thanks Kae!

Music and exercise get me motivated in the morning. What motivates you in the morning and sets the tone for your day?

Marathon work month one more week to go. Any work-out is better than NO work-out. Fitting it into the daily grind.

Just came off the indoor trainer and was doing deep squats to release the tight muscles in my hips. This also helps because I am desk jockey right now which makes all of those muscles tight as well.
