They were finally able to convince me to pick up a brush once again after 20+ years. I did three pieces in the last week this one which I name ( Jazz on the rooftop) being my favorite so far, and most recent. I stopped painting 🖼 years ago then eventually gravitated to graphic design, I love graphic design but the gratification and fulfillment you get from working on a canvas is a million times better. Now that I have the time this is how my spare time will be spent. I am embarking on a 50 piece project which might quickly turn into a 💯 piece project, who knows. But one thing for sure, the craft is back and here to stay! Stay tuned for my video covering this paintings 🖼 journey! 👌🏽💯💯💯

Found that old pic today, I have a series of pics in front of this mirror, but didn't know I had this one.
Not sure of the exact timing of this pic in relation to my transformation journey, but it appears I may have already started to trim down.

One thing for sure it definitely reminds me of how hard I had to work to get it done.
I had to discipline myself and do it even when I didn't feel like it, which was most of the times.

Don't go off of your feelings, go off of your drive. You are probably wondering what's the difference?

The difference is feelings just like motivation are temporary, they come and go and are not reliable. Drive is a passion that is accompanied by a sense of purpose.

Find a reason to get it done, allow that reason to mature into purpose, and that combination will give you the drive to keep going even when you don't feel like it. 💯💯💯💯💯
