Cleansing is arguably one of the most important steps in your skincare routine! Having a solid double cleanse routine will help build a healthy barrier. When picking a double cleanse method here are some tips!
-the first cleanse is to remove all of the impurities on the surface of your skin like makeup, dead skin, etc. This is like sweeping! This cleanse should be a lipid rich oil cleanse or a milky cleanser and should be massage into the skin for a few minutes to loosen everything up!
-the second cleanse is going to deliver acids and antioxidants deeper into the epidermis for a deep clean. This is like mopping! Think salicylic acid or mandelic for acne, lactic acid or niacinamide for anti-aging and brightening, etc! This step is crucial because it sets an even canvas for your serums to absorb evenly for best results!
