I’ll be the first to admit that staying positive is not always easy, especially when I feel like I missed the mark on a goal. But when I’m feeling negative or down about myself, I always remind myself that although I might not have made the goal, I’m consistent in moving towards it 🤍

Can I share something with you?

If you would’ve told me a year ago that I would have a growing online business in the beauty industry and that I’d be mentoring others on how to do the same, I probably would have busted out laughing!

The truth is I never saw myself doing this business, let alone absolutely loving it. All I knew was that something needed to change. I was in a place in my career where I was experiencing full on burn out...

That was me EVERY day! Finally the day came that I said enough was enough. It was a scary decision, but I said good-bye to my 9-5 and hello to opening my own business.

Best decision EVER! I’ve created a residual income, have more time freedom to be with my family and all my hard work is paying off.

You don’t have to quit you current job to do what I do, to want more for yourself and your family. Your reasons are your’s and mine are mine, but I assure you this business is for both of us!

Do you have any New Year's Resolutions this year? This can be a touchy topic in some circles because I’m a nonbeliever in resolutions…LOL, I know, I know…I’m that person!

A resolution without a specificity and without a plan is just an nice idea. I think that’s where most people go wring. At the beginning of the year everyone has big ideas for what this year will mean to them or what they will accomplish but lack the focus to create an actionable plan to achieve it. And why do we have to wait until 1/1?

My goals don’t start and stop in a calendar year. They are constantly evolving along with my road map to achieving them. So now you know where I stand on New Year’s Resolutions, and I’m curious on what you think about them. Do you make New Year’s Resolution?

Are you a ladder builder or a ladder climber?

I was listening to the great John Maxwell the other day and he asked that question...it's stuck with me ever since. Which one AM I and which one do it WANT to be?

You see a ladder climber is someone that is just focused on advancing their position up the ladder. They're focused on how others can help them move up.

A ladder builder is focused on how they can help others more up the ladder. Their actions come from a place of love, gratitude and service to build a foundation so that others may experience the climb.

It's been a wonky year to say the least. We've been met with new challenges and had to face new circumstances head on. I'm proud of myself for continuing to grow personally and professionally, despite the craziness going on around me. And I'm proud of YOU TOO! We're both still here

It's been amazing watching others climb the ladder that I built and realize they are made for more and can have more. Seeing them achieve milestone goals, their excitement and knowing there's so much more to come for them is everything I need.
