Spinach, Blueberry, 🥑 and tofu feta salad with poppyseed dressing and Almonds!🤤
Tofu feta recipe:
Ingredients

1 14 oz block extra firm tofu drained and then pressed for at least 1 hour

1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 TB organic white miso

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1 TB lemon juice

2 TB nutritional yeast

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1 TB Italian seasoning

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl except for the tofu.

Cut tofu into small bite size pieces and place in a glass container large enough for the tofu to be fully covered by the mixture.

Pour mixture over tofu, cover, and place in refrigerator overnight (or for at least 6-8 hours). The longer the tofu sits in the mixture, the tastier the feta will be.

Tofu will last in the fridge about 5 days if the tofu is kept in the liquid.

Ingredients:
2 slices of gluten free bread (I love Canyon honey white!)
Vegan herb Cheese
1/2 avocado sliced
Cucumber
Sprouts
Spinach
Directions:
There are no exact measurements here use the amounts you prefer! I like to assemble the sandwich like so: spread the cheese on both sides of the bread, on one side place spinach, cucumber (season with garlic salt and pepper), avocado, sprouts and top with the second piece of bread. That easy, Enjoy!

This is my tried and true Immune syrup recipe. This tasty syrup can be used by children or adults to strengthen the immune system. Not recommend for treating chronic fatigue, nutritive imbalances or deep-seated chronic disorders like diabetes. And should be avoided by people who have severe intestinal dysbiosis (leaky gut).
Ingredients:
2Tbsp of astragalus
2tbsp elderberry
1Tbsp will cherry bark
1Tbsp white pine bark
1Tbsp licorice
Directions:
Add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of raw local honey or raw cane sugar to a pot and bring to boil, next add the dried herbs and continue to boil for a minute. Turn down heat and simmer uncovered for 20-30 minutes. Strain the herbs and bottle the syrup, it can be refrigerated for up to a year.

What's in my first aid kit? This is the most valuable to me and my family!
Colloidal Silver is a broad spectrum antiviral-antibiotic that has been used for thousands of years. Silver was used in ancient India and Egypt medically. The settlers of America used pure silver coins to prevent milk from spoiling. Sucking on a pure silver spoon prevented babies from dying from infectious diseases. You've probably heard the phrase "born with a silver spoon in their mouth." It was the primary antibiotic in the 1930s and is still used to prevent infections in burn patients. As a colloid, silver can be used topically and internally. There is no known bacteria or virus that can survive in the presence of silver. 💮Herbal first aid kit!🌿(Part two)
Mullein: Most well known for it’s use as an oil for ear and skin first aid, mullein also has a host of other traditional uses that include support for proper healing from broken bones and as an ingredient in herbal cough formulas.
Peppermint: This tasty, well known herb is helpful for indigestion, cooling for fevers, and useful as a topical for sore muscles, bug bites and stings.
Rose: Excellent topically for skin problems, rose is also beneficial as a tea or in extract form for emotional support. Rose petals can offer herbal support for stress related headaches, allergies, dry coughs, and sore throats; rose hips are a great source of vitamin c, and are also sometimes used instead of cranberry for urinary tract health.
Valerian: A lesser known herb, but is great for nervous system support. It was used in Britain during WWII to help people feel calmer and less panicky and stressed during the air raids. It is also a valuable antispasmodic used for muscle cramps and can be added to cough support formulas for the same reason.
Yarrow: Yarrow is an excellent fever herb, and can also be used as a natural styptic, helping to normalize blood flow as an adjunct to wound care. Women can use yarrow to assist in normalizing a heavy menstrual flow and combine it with valerian to help with uterine cramping. Yarrow, Elder, and
Peppermint blend together nicely for a traditional cold and flu season tea that can be used when you first start feeling under the weather or running a low fever, to support the body’s ability to fight off an invading cold or flu. ♥️

🌱🌹Herbal first aid kit!🌻🍃(Part one)The following is a list of what is in my “First Aid Kit” and is a combination of remedies I’ve tested myself! What's in your first aid kit?
These herbs are available in dried form, homeopathic pills and extracts!
Angelica: This herb is often used for digestive discomfort, coughs, to boost immunity, and for emotional support.
Arnica: May be among the most versatile. While it’s widely embraced as a remedy for bruises, Arnica is effective in a variety of other first-aid contexts like poison oak and ivy rashes, muscle pain and insect bites.
Elder: Both elderflower and elderberries can be used, and both are expectorant. Elderberry is also immune supporting, while elderflower can help with fevers, allergies, or be used as a calming tea.
Catnip: This herb is great for colicky children (or adults!), and can be used as a calming tea to help promote a good night’s sleep.
Hawthorn: Traditionally used for indigestion, healthy circulation, and as a tonic for heart health, hawthorn is also top notch for emotional support- especially when blended with rose and angelica. Perfect for the emotional fallout that may occur after an emergency situation, or even just a particularly stressful day.

The thing to remember with dried herbs is that they don’t store as long as extracts. Usually just a year, as opposed to an extract’s five years or more (if kept out of light and away from extreme temps), although I have kept some dried herbs for longer than a year in airtight containers kept in dark pantries. They will lose their color and fragrance when they’re no longer good. Happy herbal healing!♥️

Here's a bonus smoothie bowl from the seven day smoothie challenge I hope everyone enjoyed it! I'm in love with everything lavender, it's no wonder as it is nicknamed"herb of love"! Lavender has been used for centuries as a cure for a multitude of ailments. Such as various skin conditions, anxiety and insomnia, digestive issues and respiratory ailments!
Ingredients:
1 cup of Lavender Love kombucha, gt's
1/2 cup of Coconut yogurt
1 scoop of collagen or any protein powder of your choice
1 Tbsp Chia seeds
1 Tbsp flax meal
1 Tbsp of blue spirulina
1 cup of blueberries
1 Banana
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients together, pour in a bowl and top with more blueberries, coconut flakes, Chia seeds and Lavender. I'm lucky enough to have access to Coconut Lavender almonds from Lush Gourmet in Grand Rapids Michigan!

Eat raw carrots! Why you ask? Raw carrots have a unique fiber that binds with endotoxins, like excess estrogen and bad bacteria. Without enough non-digestible fiber to sweep the intestine, harmful bacteria outcompete the good guys that keep you healthy.

Ingredients
1 ripe banana you can use an unripe banana for a lesser sweet smoothie
1/2 cup of Pineapple
1 stalk of celery
1 1/2 cup of Kombucha
1/4 cup unsweetened plain coconut yogurt
1-2 handfuls of power greens or baby spinach and/or baby kale (you can mix of both)
1/4 avocado
1 Tsp of spirulina
2 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 scoop collagen peptides

Instructions
Add all ingredients to blender and blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy. Enjoy immediately. Serves 1 generously or 2 smaller servings. Store extras in airtight jar for one day. I like to freeze my fruit, if you don't want to you can add a few ice cubes before you blend! ♥️

Blueberry Pineapple Galaxy smoothie🍍
Research has shown that blueberry intake has the ability to change the distinct gut phenolic (phytochemical) signature, meaning that blueberries have the ability to address gut inflammation by aiding good gut bacteria. Blueberry consumption enhances the healthy microbes in the gut.
Quercetin acts as an antioxidant that fights inflammation, which is the main cause for most diseases related to human health. We get quercetin from foods like apples, peppers, red wine, capers, olive oil, and beans. But during times when we need that extra boost for lowing inflammation, adding it as a powder into a smoothie comes in handy.

(For pineapple)
1 cup of Coconut milk
1/2 cup of frozen pineapple
1/2 cup of frozen mango
1/2 of a ripe banana
1 inch of fresh ginger
1 scoop of collagen
(For Blueberry)
1 cup of kombucha
1 cup of frozen blueberries
1 Tbsp of Chia seeds
1 Tsp of quercetin
Directions:
First blend all the Pineapple ingredients together and put in a glass, next blend the Blueberry ingredients together. Top the Pineapple with the Blueberry and make the Galaxy swirl with a spoon, enjoy!
