Sometimes the hardest part of healing isn’t letting go of other people—it’s letting go of the version of ourselves that believed we had to overgive, stay quiet, keep the peace, or make ourselves smaller in order to be loved.
The more we heal, the more we realize that choosing ourselves isn’t selfish.
Boundaries aren’t cruel.
And losing someone because we finally stopped abandoning ourselves isn’t really a loss.

Four years ago, this is how Kaitlin and I met. ❤️
She had lost her dad suddenly just six months before and came to me for an energy session while trying to navigate a grief that had changed her world.
I remember that session so clearly. There are some sessions where you know something bigger is happening — where you simply trust what comes through and allow yourself to be the vessel. This was one of those sessions.
Neither of us could have known that day how much that meeting would change both of our lives.
This morning Kaitlin shared this memory in our salon group text, and reading her words again stopped me in my tracks. Because four years later, life has somehow brought us full circle.
The woman who once walked through my door looking for a safe place to release, grieve and heal is now the woman who has given me a safe place to land. A beautiful space where I get to do the work I love, surrounded by women who believe in supporting one another.
Sometimes people come into our lives for a moment. And sometimes you realize years later that the moment was only the beginning. ✨

Sometimes the best way to explain a Reiki Facial is to let someone who experiences them regularly tell you. 🤍

I wanted to share a little glimpse into one of my favorite treatments that I offer here in Southwick. 🤍
The Reiki Facial was actually the beginning of me combining my two worlds — holistic skincare and energy healing.
Along with customized skincare, I incorporate Reiki and Integrated Energy Therapy to create a treatment that cares for more than just your skin.
I often tell my clients that we can store emotions a little like that closet in the house where we keep putting things we don’t have the time or energy to deal with. Eventually, that closet gets pretty full.
Sometimes we need a place where we can simply be still, receive, and let some of that go.
That’s what this treatment is about.
Beautiful, glowing skin is definitely part of it ✨ — but the way you feel when you leave is what makes the Reiki Facial so special.

I always explain stored emotions like that one closet we all have.
