We had a sound bath as a family with Matt from Healing Vibrations with Matt in Butte Valley, CA yesterday afternoon l. Honestly… it was everything we hoped for & more.
The drive from Sparks was beautiful and peaceful, which somehow made the anticipation even more exciting. Once we arrived, the cave itself felt magical — cool air, creek sounds flowing nearby, birds flying in and out around us, soft lighting dancing across the cave walls, and the most cozy setup for our family.
Matt created such a calming atmosphere with his bowls and instruments. Every sound felt intentional, soothing, and immersive. Deep tones, high vibrations, gentle moments… everything flowed beautifully.
All four of us fully relaxed — and definitely drifted into little naps throughout the session ✨️
I’ve experienced sound baths before, but this felt different in the best way. Maybe it was the cave. Maybe being surrounded by nature. Maybe sharing it with my husband and kids. Maybe Matt’s energy and presence. Probably all of it 💖
Matt was also incredibly kind, communicative, and accommodating with our schedule and travel changes, which we appreciated SO much.

A little different than my usual content today.
My son turned 13 this week 🥳
I spent the last few nights putting together almost 5 minutes of memories — from the moment he was placed in my arms to the boy he is becoming now. Between work, motherhood, long days, and late nights… it took me a little longer to finish than I hoped, but honestly, every second was worth it 🥹😭
Time is such a strange thing as a parent.
One moment they’re tiny enough to sleep on your chest… and somehow you blink and they’re teenagers.
Slow down, sweet boy. Don’t grow up too fast.

The cozy bed, the candles, the cards, the intentional little details ✨️
But behind every ‘dirty dish’ is a client who trusted me to hold space for them, care for their skin, and let them fully relax for a little while 💖
Some days the aftermath looks like this…
bowls to wash, tools to sanitize, towels to fold.
But honestly? I’m deeply grateful for it all.
