Thank you for all the birthday love! 🥰 I had a great weekend at the lakes! I’m excited to see what year 36 has in store for me😊

First day of school went great for these two!! Glad they are excited for the school year!!

Today was the start of wheat harvest 🌾It was fun to be out there together as a family (even being all squished together in the combine 😆). Ryker’s excited was the best when he saw the combine going 🥰.

Love isn’t always perfect.

This past weekend we went to Spearfish, SD for a family reunion (on my mom’s side). We all had a fun time! The kiddos are asking if we can go back again. 😊

Day 1
Arrived around 430 to Spearfish. Went on a quick adventure to Spearfish Falls before eating dinner in the lawn with the whole family crew. Kiddos had fun playing the human piñata game and playing with the kids in the big yard in front of the lodge.

Day 2
We went on two different adventures. First to Iron Creek. We found a cool cave to explore thanks to a friend telling me to look for it on the other side of the trail. After lunch, we explored a trail behind our lodge, Roughlock Falls. The kiddos participated in some Olympic games in the late afternoon. Ella took 1st in her age group. Then we went to a restaurant to eat dinner. Kiddos played checkers and outside games when we got back.

Day 3
Farewell breakfast with the whole family crew and then we were off to Rapid City. We went to Storybook Island and then to a Dino park. When we got back, we left to hike Devil’s Bathtub with the older two (Ryker stayed back with my parents). This hike was our favorite! Ella and Carter had a blast playing in the water. They left soaking wet! I was able to stay dry until the way back. I gave in and got my shoes wet and walked the creek. Water felt good!

*Carter and Ella learned how to play checkers there and now want to get a board so they can play at home.

Day 4
Got up early to make the 8 hour car ride back home. Kiddos did great on the long drive which I was very thankful for.

🎉Happy birthday to our Ella Bella!!!🎉 Can’t believe she’s turning 9!! Where has the time gone?! Ella is our creative artist, strong ninja, helpful big sister, and sweet daughter (well most days🤣). I’m so glad a got a mini I can be matchy matchy with.🥰 We love you so much!

Spent the afternoon biking around with these 3 cuties. We stopped at a few different parks along the way. Love being able to get outside and have some fun in the sun!
