Tried a new cut on her at her last apt and she didn't like it. No problem! I was able to shorten the back and blend the layers for a better shape. Also added a bunch of highlights!

Light grey and dark grey lowlights to help balance and even out her natural color.

Kitchen update

I keep getting a lot of questions about our kitchen. Is it done yet? How's it going?

Well, because we work opposite shifts, it's been hard to get anything done. I finally was able to do some work myself today.

I originally wanted rusty corrugated metal on the ceiling but I changed my mind. Now we're doing distressed barn wood and I'm loving it so far!!

How to remove yellow from white hair! You cannot use a malibu trmt on white/non-pigmented hair because it'll make the yellow worse. You also can't use permanent color or a demi color to tone the yellow out because it'll also make the yellow worse. SO what's left to use? I typically can get away with using Viral Extreme Silver shampoo with a touch of Graphite but I was out of the Extreme Silver. I'm not sure if that would have worked anyways due to how yellow her hair was. So I first tried applying Graphite shampoo diluted with a tiny bit of purple shampoo and white shampoo and applied on dry hair and let sit for about 15 mins. It helped but it didn't get all of it out. So I decided to use a direct dye mixture of Danger Jones Cyclone (silver) with a dab of DJ Masquerade (dark purple), Joico Lilac (light purple) with white deep conditioner and left on for 20 mons on towel dried hair.
Look at how gorgeous it is after!!! All of the yellow is removed and it's backs to being shiny and healthy. Not sure it'll stay this way because we aren't sure what's making her hair so yellow.
