Look at this!!! Thank you sweet friends for the giant card, pictures, flowers and chiefs gear!!! I keep saying it but I truly have the best coworkers and clients. Seeing your notes and sweet faces is heartwarming and motivating. I miss you all so much! Last night was tough and these next few days will be the hardest. Knowing you all have my back is so uplifting.

I know today was tough for lots of the parents as their kiddos had their first day of school today. Share what you're doing today or how it went. My guy was not excited to go and was not interested in pictures lol but his dad gave it his best try.

Everything went great! The surgeon was able to remove the large pieces of disc that had herniated and restore flow to my leg. Im already home and getting comfy. Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers, I can't express how much it means to me. ♥️♥️

Today's the day, wish me luck! I'm hoping to wake up from this nap with the feeling coming back to my foot. Here we go!!

Big Life Update (and a temporary pause on hair!) ✂️❤️

​Alright everyone, the universe certainly has a sense of humor! On August 24th yes, literally the day before the first day of school AND the day before my 35th birthday I am going in for back surgery. Talk about an unforgettable birthday present! 🎁

​Because I’ll be under strict restrictions, I’m going to be out for about 6 to 8 weeks while I heal. Honestly, I’m already going crazy not being able to do hair, so sitting still during this recovery is going to be my biggest test!

​Here’s what you need to know while I’m away:
​Keep an eye on this page! I’ll be posting updates on my recovery progress and will let everyone know as soon as I have a firm return date.

While I’m resting up, my incredible coworkers at Extra Care Hair Co. , Kate at Extra Care Hair Co. and Kristen Gossett, literally have my back. They are covering my clients, managing rescheduling, and keeping things running smoothly. Huge thank you to them not just for covering me but for checking in on me and visiting me at home. I truly have the absolute best coworkers in the world!

​I am going to miss seeing all of you so much during this busy back-to-school season.
