I’ll decide what strength of bleach I need based on:
-Starting level of the hair
-How much levels of lift I need
-Hair structure
-Hair texture
are always my go to for bleach and I choose from:
🔥Blond me 9+ (extra strong) blue powder
-perfect for bleach touch up and bleaching dark hair levels
🔥Vario plus, for 8+ hair levels (strong) white powder
-for bleach touch up on fine hair, highlights and teasing balayage on darker levels.
🔥Vario 7+ (medium strength) blue powder
-ideal for baby lights, airtouch, highlights on levels 6 and 7 ( my favorite 😉)
🔥Blond me clay lightener (gentle) white powder-made for open air balayage but I love LOVE! using it in the foils on pre-bleached hair with 7vol to achieve 2-3 levels of lift.

Removing box is hard guys. Sometimes the process really leaves you defeated and frustrated but we got this!
My client box colored her hair hot pink over a year ago. She’s a natural level 8 blonde but don’t let that fool you. Box color doesnt recognize time or level of lightness. It’s there till you cut 😭
I started with a platinum card which took me a little over 3 hours to apply. Once rinsed these were the steps:
•Correct band first with 8gn
•Bleach wash to brighten a little
•First gloss: 9p + 10t + 000
•Shadow: 8na + 7na
Second gloss: 10t + 10p + 000
There’s still pink in her hair, the toners camouflaged it just enough. Her next appointment depending on how the pink fades would be a bleach wash and all over gloss to kick it out more.
Please remember, if you have any box color in your hair INCLUDING SALLYS WELLA T-18, this stuff comes with a price. If you plan on ever going blonde save your money. I kid you not it will not leave your hair no matter how many years it’s been. It’s stained and imbedded into the cortex. And if you have box and want to start the correcting process schedule a consult and strand test :) we’re a team and we’re gonna do it together ❤️
