Metro East Start Up Challenge - The Metro East Start-Up Challenge (MESC) is a business plan competition that recognizes and rewards excellence in entrepreneurship. The Challenge is a $28,000 cash prize business plan competition to identify, encourage, and reward excellence in entrepreneurship in the St. Louis Metro East region (now including Fayette, Macoupin, and Montgomery Counties).
Eligibility: Ventures established after April 30, 2023 and located in one of 13 eligible Metro East counties
Deadline: August 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
