Today, the world feels a little less sparkly. 💔✨

If you’ve ever stepped foot inside The Big Blonde Salon, you know Dolly Parton has always been so much more than background music or cute décor around here. In so many ways, she’s been part of the heart behind this little salon.

Dolly showed generations of women that you could be bold and kind, glamorous and humble, strong and soft, successful and still completely yourself. She reminded us that big hair, rhinestones and a little extra sparkle never hurt anybody—but the most beautiful thing you could ever be was a good person.

Her music has played through countless appointments, her face has covered our walls, her quotes have made us laugh, and her larger-than-life spirit has inspired so much of what makes The Big Blonde Salon feel like The Big Blonde Salon.

It’s hard to imagine a world without Dolly in it. But what a beautiful legacy she leaves behind—one filled with music, laughter, generosity, faith, big dreams, and a whole lot of rhinestones.

I hope Heaven was ready for a whole lot more blonde, a whole lot more sparkle, and one incredible angel.

Thank you for reminding all of us country girls that you can come from somewhere small and still dream bigger than the mountains.
