This costume was worn by figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi, who became the first Asian-American woman to win an Olympic gold medal when she finished first in women's singles in 1992.
Designed by Lauren Sheehan and worn for the "Stars on Ice" tour, it's now in our National Museum of American History.

A new year has begun, and we are brought to reflect on how this journey began. When we started Mod & Muse, the hope was to give our neighbors of all ages the opportunity to experience music and art together right in their backyard. You can imagine that the events of the last few years have given us reason to reconsider. We've had to adjust our crowns a few times while we challenged and found ourselves. Now we are proud to say we have finally landed on our crystal-encrusted heels at !
You see, it's true we love a good party 🥳 but we love dressing up even more! Why not do it everyday?? And let's grow our crew while we're at it. Thus Mod & Muse Boutique has arrived: a make believe makeover boutique & costume shop. Our team now includes hair and make up stylisys, artists, and teachers.
