Tallow does not have to live in only one part of your routine.
FACE - begin with a tiny amount and gently press it onto slightly damp skin.
HANDS - massage over knuckles, palms, and cuticles after washing.
BODY - use a small amount on elbows, knees, feet, or other areas that feel dry.
The key is to begin with less than you think you need and adjust from there.

What exactly is tallow skincare?
Tallow is rendered animal fat, most commonly from sheep or beef. Rendering removes moisture and impurities so the fat can be used as the rich base of a concentrated, water-free balm.
It is a traditional ingredient, but “traditional” does not mean magical, and it does not mean every formula is the same.
The finished texture depends on the tallow, other ingredients, temperature, formulation, and the amount you apply.
At The Shepherd’s Gold, both Pure Bliss Unscented and Sacred Meadow are available with sheep or beef tallow.
If you are new to tallow, the most useful tip is simple: start with a very small amount.

Start with a tiny amount. Warm it completely between clean fingers, then gently press or massage it onto slightly damp skin.
Wait a moment before adding more. Because the balm is concentrated, the amount you need may be much smaller than the amount you would use with a lotion.
Your preferred amount can change depending on the area, the season, and how your skin feels that day.
