a mindful embodiment method

If you are an LPC, LCSW or MFT, and you are interested in the lover dance, you'll want to attend this in-person 6CE offering on Nov 13th in Atlanta (*Stone Mountain)!
Long-time certified mediator and trainer in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples (EFT) and nonviolent communications (NVC) as well as Certified Chi for Two® Embodiment Coach and Trainer Mukti Jarvis will be in Atlanta from Melbourne, Australia for this in-person workshop in Stone Mountain.
Mukti, along with Chi for Two Coach Fred Shelton, ASMP, and Chi for Two originator Dee Wagner, LPC, BC-DMT, MSME/T, will offer this in-person CE workshop for counselors, social workers and marriage and family therapists based on their peer-reviewed journal article from 2024.
This workshop will help you understand anatomically why talking to our lovers can bring out our claws...can cause a sensation as big as "I want to bite your head off!" You can learn the physiology that explains why this is true.
We hope you will join us!

No one gets what is ideal.
However, when we have somatic knowing of what is ideal, we become who we would have become if we had gotten what is ideal. 🌟
Chi for Two®, a mindful embodiment method, offers somatic movement healing practices that are relational and developmental.
Chi for Two (Chi meaning energy, Two meaning relational) is a synthesis of many trauma healing methods and is an Approved Training Program with ISMETA (International Somatic Movement Education & Therapy Association).
Chi for Two practitioners offer somatic healing in a way that “dances with” clients instead of “doing something to” a client.
Trained Chi for Two coaches help to re-pattern nervous system functioning by:
*using an invitational approach
*offering relational somatic support
*celebrating new movement expressions over time that provide a robust quality of embodiment and healing.

As more teachers experiment with AI in the classroom, Chi for Two practices provide the embodied support that allows AI to be an effective learning tool.
This is because of Chi for Two’s work understanding of the anatomy of trauma and language learning.
