Your Google Business Profile should be part of your social media strategy. Post your transformations, client photos, educational content, updates and offers there too.

And please understand: asking a client for a review one time usually isn’t enough. Create a system. Follow up. Send the link. Remind them again.

Stop measuring popularity and start measuring what brings in paying clients.

Focus on the things that make you money, and watch how powerful the impact is on your business.

I know having your own studio can feel like THE goal. The sign on the door. Your own space. The cute decor. The whole “I made it” moment.

But let me tell you something nobody talks about enough…

More overhead does not automatically mean more success.

Sometimes the smartest, most profitable version of your spray tan business is mobile.

Sometimes it’s a salon suite.

Sometimes it’s a she shed in your backyard.

Sometimes it’s keeping your expenses LOW and your profit HIGH instead of paying for a space just because you feel like that’s what a “successful” spray tan artist is supposed to do.

Because once you have that studio? Rent is due whether you spray 5 people or 50.

So before you upgrade your business just because everyone else seems to be doing it, really look at the numbers.

What structure gives YOU the best profit?
What gives you the lifestyle you actually want?
What creates the least amount of unnecessary stress?

Don’t get caught up trying to keep up with the Spray Tan Joneses.

A smaller business model with bigger margins will beat a pretty studio with a pile of overhead every single time.

Build the business that makes sense for YOU — not the one that looks the most impressive on Instagram.
