ANNOUNCEMENT: Exec.Cuts Closing: July 23, 2021.

I have been truly blessed to serve my community for over 30 years. I started cutting hair at age 16; I became the owner of my first shop in Kansas City, Kansas, in 2003, and ran that shop for four years before closing, moving to Arizona, and starting the next phase of my life. After working as a barber in Arizona for five years, in 2011, with the support of my loving wife, I opened Exec.Cuts, which successfully served as the cornerstone of my community for more than a decade.* This shop became a "second place" for many, where they could come for a clean cut, safe conversations, and a good time with family and friends.

As the owner and head barber, I have seen many up and downs to the buisness resulting in a lot of sleepless and stressful nights. I came across so many great barbers and made made mounds of resources along the way. My clients came from so many different walks of life and became apart of my family, in our barbership circle. I have seen children go to high school, graduate from college, and then onto marriage. I have seen lives change at Exec.Cuts, and through all of my ups and downs, I watched how God sustained me the entire time.

But this season has changed; my heart isn’t in it and has not been for the past year, especially as we struggled to stay afloat during the global pandemic. During this journey, I learned an important lesson as a business owner: when things in life shift and it seems like everything around you is moving in a different direction, embrace the shift, thank God for the change, and never let fear interfere!

This is bitter, but very sweet; as of July 23, 2021, I will be retiring from barbering and closing shop. For all of my family and friends who ride and die with me at Exec.Cuts, please feel free to reach out via DM. God bless and thanks for so many years of love and support!
