Today may you find peace in the Lord!

Last year (the end of the season) my husband and I bought some deeply discounted plants as the season had passed to plant them. They looked awful and we really didn’t know if they were dead. Over many months I watched our fig tree. It was a stick with ZERO apparent life in it. We kept it watered hoping for signs of life in the branches…nothing. Then all of a sudden a little shoot broke forth from the BOTTOM of the tree. I cant begin to tell you how excited I was! Life sprung forth 🌱

Friend, I want to encourage you today that while some things (dreams, promises, prophetic words, etc.) are dead and life has drained from them, look yet again. Sometimes those things are just dormant and in due season will show signs of life! Don’t give up when you KNOW something is of God because He who began the good work is faithful to complete it. Water it, feed it and ask the Lord to help you see again. The Kingdom needs your contribution

In every aspect of the day this is a great reminder. Being still isn't always easy, but there is a reason God asks us to get plenty of practice in! How can you be still today? What needs require it? Praying for calm in your swirling seas today

Transition can be hard. It can be scary and leave us feeling out of control. I don’t know about you, but I can get very comfortable on a path that seems to be a good one, where things are moving and it has ease on it. All of a sudden things shift and that ease seems to be lifted. Right?! God’s intent for us is to walk in the fullness He offers and to move from glory to glory. Transition is necessary for any new level of assignment! Sometimes it’s exciting And sometimes it is makes us freeze. When we rely on God’s character and nature we can rest knowing He has prepared the path before us and we can lean on Him to be our trusted Guide. Remember, in a mystery God hides things FOR us, not FROM us and it’s our great privilege to search those things out ( Proverbs 25:2). His greatness is revealed in a mystery. When our path changes, it can be a magnificent opportunity to know Him more and leave Kingdom footprints 👣 May you embrace the new and allow the kindness of the Lord to clothe you as you take that step

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you current moms, step-moms, single moms, foster moms, adoptive moms, aunties, grandmothers, siblings, and moms in waiting who have loved a child and whose hearts are ready to pour into a child who will receive every ounce of you. It is a role filled with joy, tears, frustration, pride, weariness, uncertainty, laughter, sleepless nights and awe. Even when they are no longer babies (like mine who is 25) we are still Mom in new chapters and still have our hearts knit to the ones we love ❤️

For all of you precious ones that grieve the loss of a mom either by death or disconnection (emotionally or physically) you are loved and held. The Lord is your faithful Father and friend when earthly ties are released. May you feel the Comforter beside you as you remember and grieve the absence of that relationship 🌹

For you that parent as a single mom, you are amazing and not alone as God stands with you where there is a void. May you be held when worn out, comforted when afraid, provided for when you don’t know how to make ends meet and be surrounded by community as you raise your children with love and a sense of family 💐

For those who lost a child whether young or grown, you are loved and your tears are caught by God Himself. May He wrap you in His arms and clothe you in His love 💕 He knows your pain and stands with you in your grief. For those who have had an abortion, know your baby is in presence of Abba Father and has been taught by God as they grew. God offers not only forgiveness, but a complete release of guilt and shame as you turn to Him as Savior and Lord. ✝️ May you feel the intense love of the Lord envelop you, beloved.

For those who have longed for a child and have not yet seen this dream realized, you are seen by the Lord who knows you intimately. May our gracious Father give you peace and strength to believe in His goodness and pure intent for your life as you press in and press on in that hope. 🌈

For those who are estranged from your child for whatever reason, may the God of reconciliation work through this with you when wisdom dictates it and envelop your heart with peace if you need to love from a distance. 🌺

Wherever you are and whatever your story today, I pray every good thing over you and send much love.

We always have a choice with how we approach our day. Whatever the task, present it to the King as an offering and watch your perspective shift!

I do say this looks like creation in prayer mode! 🥰

The Word has much to say about fear. This is a beautiful passage about trust and the assurance of Presence and protection. This song begins by telling us that when we take refuge in the shelter of the Most High we are safe in His shadow. Later we are told that God commands heavenly messengers to guard us and keep us safe. What a stunning blanket of peace to pick up and wrap ourselves in! Friends, there’s a shelter to run to and a Lord that clings to you in love who knows you by name (v 14) and tucks you under His mighty wings (v 4). Let Him be who you need today

I love the Word. Not only is it alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12) but it is a beacon, a bright illumination of our path that helps us see our way in darkness. It’s dark, friends. The enemy camp is busy BUT our King has provided a light in Himself that cannot be extinguished by any darkness. Get into His Word, step into the light and find peace, strategy and confidence as you walk it out! We are NOT alone❤️
