The Division of Physical Therapy would like to acknowledge eight of our students who volunteered with Florida Elks Children's Therapy Services (FECTS) at their Annual Family Camp in Umatilla, FL. Our students assisted licensed Occupational and Physical Therapists as they provided the camp attendees with a meaningful camp experience. The therapists at FECTS treat a wide range of diagnoses and the camp attendees had the opportunity to complete ropes courses, shoot at the archery range, paddle boat around a lake, and many other activities. Thank you to FECTS Director, Yvette Lambert, for introducing our students to this amazing opportunity.
