When Jesus said to store up treasures in heaven, He was talking about investing in things that have eternal value rather than temporary earthly gain. These are rewards and blessings that come from living a life aligned with God’s will things that last beyond this world.
✨ Examples of treasures in heaven
1. Faith and obedience – Trusting God and living according to His teachings (Hebrews 11:6).
2. Love and kindness – Helping others, showing compassion, forgiving, and giving without expecting anything in return (Matthew 25:34–40).
3. Sharing the gospel – Leading others to faith and spreading God’s truth (Philippians 4:17).
4. Generosity – Giving to the poor and supporting others in need (Luke 12:33).
5. Spiritual growth – Building godly character, humility, patience, and faithfulness (Galatians 5:22–23).

“Treasures in heaven” are spiritual rewards that reflect your heart, character, and relationship with God.
They can’t be taken away, stolen, or destroyed unlike money or possessions and they last forever.
