In this episode, we’re talking about love, loss, faith, purpose and legacy with Kiesha Geyen.

Keisha’s journey has taken her through the unimaginable loss of her mother, and later, her husband. But this conversation isn’t only about what she lost—it’s about what God revealed, what love left behind, and what she chose to build in her husband’s honor.

Through grief, God showed up. Through the difficult days, He guided her. And even now, as she learns how to carry love and loss at the same time, her faith continues to carry her forward.

This is a conversation about discovering that legacy doesn’t end when someone leaves us. Sometimes, that’s where a new assignment begins.

Every legacy has a seed—and sometimes that seed is planted by someone who sees something in you before you see it in yourself.

For Jo Ann Hoye, that early seed was planted through Danny Lion Scarborough at San Diego State University—an experience that helped give birth to the vision and intuition that would later influence her work in poetry, dance/worship ministry, and creating spaces for others to be heard.

🌱 Someone planted the seed. Jo Ann nurtured it. Now others are benefiting from the harvest.
