These two areas of the body are generally more dry, with thinner skin than the rest of the body

This makes it easier for tanning solution to oversaturate the skin, causing the tan to pull orange🍑

HOWEVER - with proper prep & technique, you can create flawless results every time that look completely natural!

Here’s a step-by-step guide on nailing your hand and feet spray tan application👇🏼

1️⃣ Apply barrier cream on the hands, knuckles, palms, ankles, sides of the feet, and the underside of the wrists.

As mentioned previously, the hands and feet tend to be DRY

This is why we want to make sure we add extra moisture to the area with a thick cream that creates a barrier for excess solution that could cause oversaturation

2️⃣ Instruct the client to make bear claws so that the knuckles are slightly bent and spread apart. Spray in an “X” formation overtop of the hands to coat the entire area evenly

👉🏼 Make sure not to miss the pinky and thumb when spraying

3️⃣ Use your X-Tan Blending Brush to blend out all areas between the fingers, around the knuckles, and wrists for a natural-looking, flawless finish!

✨(P.S. Once blended, remove any remaining barrier cream from the nails and palms of the hands!)
