Lots of people ask us if our soap is made from lye, and I always hesitate to answer not because I’m worried about our product, but because this process has a really bad reputation with some people, totally understandable because lye is caustic chemical and believe me I wouldn’t want that on my skin either. But rest assured, there is no lye in our finished soap.
