Let’s talk pickles, I forgot to post this yesterday. These are so easy, and so yummy. You’ll be making them once a week. And, you can keep adding to the same brine. So much better than store bought. Don’t get crazy on the red pepper flake though. A tiny bit goes a lot way.

Best natural medicine you can have in your home. And super easy (except peeling the garlic, that actually ruined my day). This does take time to ferment and do its thing, so start it now before everyone starts getting sick. Don’t ever stir with a metal spoon, and after a couple weeks of mixing it every couple days, add in a splash of apple c***r vinegar (for safety reasons) you can add a dash of cinnamon, you can add cloves, or you can leave it as is. After its initial process this never goes bad. You can munch on a garlic clove a day to prevent sickness or can use it to help get over a sickness as well. This mixture creates Allicin, which is antimicrobial, antiviral, and provides great antioxidants. And no, it does not taste like eating an actual garlic clove.

I didn’t take anything out of the hair oil (Root Revival), I just had to change up the ratios a bit, add some new things, and obviously double the size. Then I had to play with it for a while to see what I thought.
I will have this listed and available online tomorrow. It’s so good, I’ll probably sleep with it in my hair tonight. If you see me running around town with oily hair just mind your business 😂🖤

Great event for a great cause. Plus we got to see a lot of familiar faces. I only wish I got to browse around and see more of what was going on 😂

I love seeing successful tallow companies, as I wish more people would use tallow. However, it always bums me out, when I realize most the companies are just ordering rendered tallow online. Which isn’t horrible if you’re getting it from somewhere you trust. Unfortunately, most people are just going online. So that tallow is probably bleached, deodorized and mixed with all the things to get it done fast and make it white with no smell. All things which don’t have to be listed on the label. Not to mention, hot tallow poured into plastic 😬 no thanks.
I may not make every market, and I’m sold out here and there, but I am super prideful on the fact that I know our tallow is pure, it’s local, and I can tell you what’s in it. Plus, you won’t smell like a cow.
Years ago, I ordered tallow online, tallow everyone else is ordering (I went through ALL the forums), because I was in a pinch, with someone else’s viral video of our product. I was sending out 40-50 tallows every couple days. And it was the WORST tallow. It was either too soft (not suet, or it smelled like feet). It’s extremely embarrassing, honestly. I will never get those customers back, and I totally understand why. I was so worried about keeping up, that I tried to do what everyone else is doing, and it sucked. And that was just my back up. Since that experience, I would rather be sold out. But, I had to learn that lesson the hard way. We’re in this culture where you can order anything online and it’s there tomorrow. If you can’t provide that they’ll go somewhere else.
Because of that one week, years ago, I will never care about telling people it might be a few days. A lot of these tallow companies have really lost the main reason tallow is so amazing. Because of the simplicity, the nutrients, and the way we can control what we’re putting on our largest organ. I’m so happy I didn’t fall into the mass production side. (Although I’m jealous daily , I’m not going to lie about that 😂).
