This journey has been full of hard work, learning, and growth, and I’m so thankful for everyone who encouraged me along the way.

✨ Last day of cosmetology school: DONE. ✨

What started as a dream with mannequin heads, color stains on my hands, and a million questions somehow turned into this moment. I officially finished cosmo school today, and it still doesn’t feel real. 💇🏻‍♀️🎀

Next step: moving into my salon space, taking my state board, and getting behind the chair full time very soon. The countdown is officially on. 🫧✂️

I’ll hopefully be moving into my salon home at A Touch of Class by the end of May, which is super exciting and a little surreal.

Student Spotlight- Macy Granderson

Macy Granderson is pursuing a career in cosmetology at Texarkana College because of her passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful. 🐾 She has seen firsthand how even a small change in someone’s appearance can positively impact their mood and self-esteem. Inspired by meaningful memories of visiting the salon with her grandmother, Macy developed a love for the welcoming atmosphere and the way beauty services bring people joy and comfort.💖

Creativity also plays a big role in Macy’s journey. With a passion for art and trying new things, she is excited to grow her skills in an ever-changing, hands-on career. Macy values the opportunity to connect with clients, create meaningful experiences, and help others feel like the best version of themselves. She looks forward to building a future where she can make a difference, one service at a time. 💇‍♀️💖🌟
