My Next Case 2024 in the books!! It’s always a blessing to give back to the community 💌
This year My Next Case delivered to Rebekah's Haven a homeless shelter for women with children. Not only did we provide for a wonderful mom and her three children but to the shelter itself.
The reaction and smiles on the little girls faces were so heartfelt. The mom was so grateful and loved her little girls excitement. I wish we were able to meet her son but I know he'll love what he got when he gets back.
Jamie Kincaid the director was so happy and grateful to God for the totes of food and clothes for the shelter.
Thank you to EVERYONE that helped in any way. I appreciate every donation and the hours of volunteering to help my goal get accomplished. Thank you Myron K Stewart for the connection and direction.

Our 2nd Annual Drive and Celebration of Salon Anniversary is coming up!
My Next Case:
Dr. La’Keshia Cherie states she founded “My Next Case” to serve those who have hit rock bottom and are left without the full support needed to thrive and transition out of their current situation. “My Next Case” gives suitcases full of necessities and other items that will promote wellness and instill good feelings in the people that are assisted. Three families are chosen every Spring to be assisted. In June there is an annual drive that caters to the needs of the selected families. In 2023, the initiative supported men from the Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission. Since then, there has been an outpour of generosity from the community. The goal of “My Next Case” is to show that are people out there who care.
Applications are available annually in March. Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2024.
