Renee started her career in NJ, where she was born and raised, but it didn't take long for the young and ambitious stylist to find herself living and working in NYC. Determined to gain knowledge and recognition Renee worked in prestigious salons like Vidal Sassoon while pursuing every opportunity to further her education.
After many years in the big apple, Renee traded the hustle and bustle of NYC for the serene island life of Hawaii when she was offered a position as a stylist on ABC's primetime show Lost. After the show wrapped up it's final season, Renee worked for Aveda on the islands of Oahu and Maui, but eventually found herself ready for a new adventure. After years of soaking up the sun Renee took an editorial position in Reykjavik Iceland styling for an Icelandic magazine and several runway shows. She worked and studied the organic and artistic ways of Icelandic hairstyling until the sun beckoned her once again.
Renee followed the call of the sun and headed straight to the sunshine state where she opened her very first salon. It was there, in an exclusive community on Florida's east coast that Renee not only styled her clients but learned the on-the-job skills of owning and managing a successful business that catered to a sophisticated clientele. Renee sold her successful salon after years of operation when her daughter Eden was born. The transition into motherhood brought a desire to be closer to her family. Renee headed home to her NJ roots. She currently resides in Toms River NJ where she is back behind the chair in her downtown Toms River Studio offering all she has learned along her journey. Her philosophy is “ looking and feeling great should not cost a fortune. She offers evening, morning, weekday and weekend hours.
