this is not a “X is bad for you” post but rather a “hey just keep in mind” post. AHA’s and BHA’s are great for gentle exfoliating, removing product buildup, and stimulating the blood vessels in your scalp! just be aware that both acid’s do increase your risk of a sunburned scalp, so wear a hat or limit your sun exposure.
common names of AHA’s are: alpha hydroxy acid, citric acid, lactic acid, and glycolic acid.
common names of BHA’s are: beta hydroxy acid, salicylic acid, and tropic acid.
