This week’s Alumni Spotlight highlights Nik Brown! Former President of the Eller African American Honorary and now an Account Development Manager at Reyes Beverage Group. Nik credits his growth to staying curious and keeping an open mind to different opportunities.
He emphasizes that consistency and accountability will be your best leverage” and encourages students to “stay consistent and let your work speak for itself.” He also urges people of color to step into corporate and leadership roles because companies need us to be ready when the opportunity comes.

Join us in celebrating Nik and his continued impact.💜💛

Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 🖤

Dr. King’s vision continues to challenge and inspire us to build more inclusive, equitable spaces within our communities, our classrooms, and the workplaces we will lead one day. MLK Day matters because it reminds us that progress is not passive; it is the result of courage, collective action, and intentional leadership. As members of the Eller African American Honorary, we can carry this legacy forward by advocating for equity in the business world, uplifting Black excellence, and committing ourselves to leadership rooted in service and integrity. Let us honor Dr. King not only in reflection, but through action. ✊🏾
