Keep following along, I promise I won't disappoint this time

Today i had the honor to meet this beautiful human. She was everything I needed in my chair today. What started off as a day, turned into the most rewarding one I've had as a hairdresser so far.

Taylor came in for an Awapuhi Hydrasoft treatment. Little did we both know, it's something she not just as a woman, or a mother wanted. But NEEDED.

And I say this because I as a mother forget sometimes that I to matted, I to deserve to feel good, and beautiful. We washed her beautiful hair, blowdryed it, and I asked to put some curls in. Even though she doesn't use heat on her hair. She agreed.

When I turned her around her eyes said it all. Before she could tell me how beautiful it looked and great it felt. I could tell this was something her soul needed. Just a little pick me up. Nothing drastic or permanent.. Just something to make her feel good about her. She started to cry and so did I. I couldn't hug that mama fast enough.

As one mother to the next, remember to also LOVE & CARE FOR YOU TO. YOU MATTER. YOU ARE SOMEONE.
