September feels different this year.
Not golden. Not gray.

I had a client come to me organically right after I finished school. She was tired of traveling to Boise to get her hair cut. A whole 2 hours away just for a hair cut.

She took a chance on me with her amazing curly hair and we hit it off. She has taught me so much more about curly hair then school ever did.

What I thought would be just a client, developed into a friendship. We talked about life, hers and mine. The kids the spouses. The hush hush topics like religion and politics. We definitely dont see eye to eye but they were great conversations to get your brain thinking about real issues with out the back and forth fighting.

Today, miss client, told me she got a promotion!!! Yay! So much is happening in her life and I am so excited for her. But with the good comes the bad. As her new chapter is opening up, our chapter is closing. My heart is sad that today was probably the last time I will cut her hair.
