🚨 PLEASE STOP DISRESPECTING THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY! 🚨
I’m seeing more and more posts and comments saying:
“Not too expensive…”
“Need someone cheap…”
“Looking for someone who doesn’t charge an arm and a leg…”
So I’m gonna get real for a moment. 🩷
I would NEVER come to your job and tell you that you make too much money, because honestly, you probably don’t make enough either!
Beauty is a LUXURY, and luxury isn’t supposed to come “cheap.”
The cost of EVERYTHING has increased, products, supplies, rent, utilities, booking systems, processing fees, continuing education, licensing, taxes, insurance, and simply the cost of doing business.
And you’re not just paying for the time you spend in my chair.
You’re paying for my years of experience, a nice salon, education, knowledge, skill, quality products, professionalism, and expertise. You’re paying for the knowledge I give you about maintaining your hair.
You’re paying for the care I put into every service and the relationships I build with my clients.
You’re also paying for a professional who genuinely cares about your hair, your confidence, and the experience you receive from beginning to end.🩷🌸
I am NOT a cheap stylist, but I AM a reasonable stylist. 💯

I refuse to lowball myself just to attract clientele. The clients meant for me will value the quality, knowledge, experience, and results I provide.
And to my fellow beauty professionals: WE have to value what we do before we can expect anyone else to value it.
Stop being afraid to charge according to your experience, expenses, expertise, and the quality of service you provide. Take pride in your craft. Target YOUR audience. The right clientele will recognize your value and gravitate toward you. 🩷🌸

There is a stylist for every budget, but we have to stop disrespecting professionals because their prices don’t fit ours‼️

After all these years, God has never failed me yet.
Being a business owner and Master Stylist isn’t easy. There are days when the weight of running a salon, servicing clients, fixing problems, dealing with difficult situations, making tough decisions, and simply trying to stay afloat can feel heavy.
But I have to keep PRESSING FORWARD. 🙏🏾
Through every challenge, every setback, every lesson, and every season, God has continued to provide.
And once again, God saw fit to open a door and bless ME so that I could turn around and bless the salon. 🙌🏾
This renovation has truly been a journey, and we still have a ways to go, but watching the vision come together has been such a blessing.
