PSA ⚠️ HAIR EXTENSIONS SHOULD NOT HURT OR BE UNCOMFORTABLE. If they are then they are either not installed correctly or they are NOT the method for your hair type- often even BOTH just saying 💁

In order to flex you have to have a routine, so here’s mine. 🤷🏻‍♂️

My flex- 💯percent of my extension guests let me know they have never had a better install and that it feels like they don’t have anything on their scalp.

The routine that makes this possible- I ensure every single point of contact is evenly distributed. This is the foundation of our installations AND YET it is the most overlooked and neglected portion of the service.

Why do people allow this? Because you don’t see the root of the problem, you see the glossy finished end of the service. Not the damage happening under the wefts, the tensile follicular scalping happening creating micro scarring and permanently killing hair follicles.

This is not a beauty service for heavy handed confidence, yet stylists are out here making 6 figure incomes off of the arrogant badge of a follower count and before and after photos.

I will give the benefit of the doubt, some stylists simply don’t know because they are working from knowledge and techniques from others- for those I will say ALWAYS check with your guests before, DURING, and after on how their scalp is feeling. If you are running into “spicy” points, you need to adjust your technique period.

✨I do not follow a ™️ method because I use the knowledge that works to create the safest results for the longevity of both the installed hair and the security of my clients scalp. People try and do things different just to sell their brand or style and I’m not about that ✨

WTF does he even mean? 😂 basically if your genetics do not allow your natural hair to grow thick down to the middle of your back your hair doesn’t support not having a fresh install to perfectly distribute the point of contact each time.
