This is your reminder—Duck Daze is tomorrow 🐥

📍 University Place
🗓 June 6
⏰ 9am–2pm

Start with the parade, then head over to The Village at Chambers Bay for the South Sound Makers Market and a full lineup of food, music, and family-friendly fun.

I’ll be there all day—stocked up and ready for a busy one. If you need an excuse to get out, enjoy the sunshine, and engage with the community, this is it!

Took a quick break from packaging to decorate the microwave in my studio with some new stickers I just picked up from 😍 I love it! I might need more. 😂

I love events that actually feel like a full day out—and Duck Daze delivers.

After the parade kicks off at 10am, the celebration keeps going with:
• 50+ local makers
• food trucks & live music
• kids activities, games, and face painting
• stilt walkers and costumed characters

You can even stop by West Pierce Fire & Rescue Station 31 for their open house—free hot dogs and a behind-the-scenes look at the equipment 🚒

It’s one of those events where there’s something happening at every turn—and I’m excited to be part of it again this year.

I’m kicking off June with one of my favorite local traditions—Duck Daze 🐥

The 3rd Annual SSMM at Duck Daze is happening June 6 from 9am–2pm, and it’s more than just a market. It’s a full community celebration in University Place—parade, vendors, food trucks, music, and so much more.

You can start your morning along the parade route, then head over to The Village at Chambers Bay where the market and festivities continue.

I’ll be there with my full lineup of handmade goods—come say hi and make a day of it.

I’ll be at the Haunted Farmers Market this Sunday with small-batch soaps, skin-loving salves, and a few moody favorites that feel right at home this time of year.

Been enjoying my “week off” from events, which honestly couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ve been dealing with a round of plantar fasciitis since mid-May so it’s been a lot of sitting this week, but when my foot feels better towards the end of the day, I find time to get cracking on some soap making. Today’s project was installing my new stainless steel table in the soap studio so I can prep 55 pounds of soap for some quality soap making time this coming week. Once I clean up the rest of this organized mess, I’ll film a studio tour. 💜
