The Evening Primrose is a flowering plant that has been revered for its wide range of medicinal properties across Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, and throughout Europe, where it is known as the ‘King’s Cure-All.’ The plant gets its name from the fact that its flowers only bloom after dusk, as they release their beautiful fragrance and emit a subtle glow to attract their nocturnal pollinators.

Our Organic Evening Primrose Oil is pressed from the seeds of the plant, which are an exceptionally rich source of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) and Linoleic Acid. The nutritive profile of this oil lends itself to being highly nourishing, moisturizing, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory for all skin types, including problem, damaged, maturing, and sensitive skin. Additionally, this oil is highly nourishing for the scalp and conditioning for dry and damaged hair.

Aloe Vera, Amla, and Aritha are three nourishing ingredients that have been recognized for centuries for their powerful benefits in aiding hair and scalp health. HYDRATE + CALM:
Aloe Vera products are incredibly soothing and hydrating to the skin and scalp. Aritha (Soapnut) Powder is a wonderful, natural cleansing agent for sensitive skin and hair types. It contains a high level of saponins that act as natural foaming agents, making it a gentle, and environmentally-friendly botanical cleanser. Combine Aritha Powder with our Aloe Vera, Amla, Neem, Rose, Sandalwood and Shikakai Powders to create a naturally aromatic and soothing Ayurvedic cleanser.

Exfoliation is an essential key to skincare. Yet, even the most finely ground natural exfoliants can be too harsh for certain skin types. This is where milk powders come to the rescue. Rich in lactic acid, milk powders offer a gentle alternative to physical exfoliants to achieve the benefits of exfoliation without irritation to even the most sensitive skin types. These powders also contain fatty acids, proteins, vitamins and minerals that soothe, moisturize, and nourish the skin. They make wonderful additions to baths and facials, as well as bath bomb, milk soap, and lotion formulations.
