Jacksonville Florida we would like to introduce you to Officer Gretchen Byrne, otherwise known as the “Cat Cop.” Officer Byrne, a 16 year veteran, has been featured worldwide for her cat rescuing heart. Often during her routine patrols, Officer Byrne finds stray cats that could use some love and care. To date, Officer Byrne has found homes for over 300 stray cats.
