I help women have pain-free enjoyment of motherhood.

This is for the mom who is comparing her baby to every other baby she sees.

Milestone windows are wide for a reason.

Most healthy babies get there on their own time, and the baby you saw this morning doing something yours is not does not change that.

What matters more than the timeline is the quality of the movement. Is your baby symmetrical? Are they using both sides of their body? Does each milestone seem to build on the last? That is what we are actually paying attention to when you come in. Not whether they are hitting a date on a chart.

If something feels off, trust that and text CONSULT to 952-402-9355 and we'll schedule a time to chat more.

Night waking in babies under a year is not a malfunction.

It is biology.

Their sleep cycles are short, their stomachs are small, and their nervous systems are still figuring out what safety feels like in the dark.

Every time you go to them, they learn their world is dependable and safe.

Every time you hold them, their stress hormones drop and yours drop with them.

That is co-regulation, and it is the most important thing happening in your house at 3am.

If your baby has been extra restless, extra hard to settle, or seems uncomfortable in certain positions, sometimes there is physical tension getting in the way. That is exactly the kind of thing I focus on with pediatric chiropractic care and craniosacral work.

I hear it all the time...”I wish I had come in during my first trimester.”

Prenatal chiropractic care isn’t just for the third trimester when the pressure gets intense.

Starting earlier means your pelvis and nervous system are supported through every stage of your baby’s development, not just the final stretch.

First trimester fatigue and nausea.
Second trimester postural shifts.
Third trimester positioning.
There’s something genuinely helpful at every stage.

From being Webster Technique certified to all the additional advanced trainings around prenatal care, I got you at any stage!

Why would a baby fight tummy time?

Often it's just normal development ... they aren't there yet with strength and coordination. It's a new skill that is uncomfortable to learn. (Learning occurs in discomfort!)

Another reason is that baby has TOO MUCH tension in the upper neck and shoulders. So lifting their head is not a pleasant feeling, even painful.

The second reason is way more common than most people realize!

Have you ever experienced too tight of muscles in your neck or back? Where the tension makes movement painful?

Baby's protest to tummy time doesn't mean we stop trying because they hate it ... it's communication and worth a closer look.

I can help! As a certified pediatric chiropractor, this is my wheelhouse to assess, adjust and teach parents gentle homework to make tummy time go more smoothly.

😎 ALMOST SUMMER BREAK TIME!!! ☀️

Here in Minnesota, my teens have two more days of school.

Because change can dysregulate bodies and nervous systems, it's best to have a plan for the transition into summer for kids!

Here's what I recommend:

1️⃣ Create a flexible but predictable routine - Kids don’t necessarily need a rigid schedule all summer long, but the brain does thrive on some level of predictability.

Try creating rhythms to the day:
🧠 Wake-up routines
🧠 Meal times
🧠 Outdoor play
🧠 Quiet/reset time
🧠 Consistent bedtime

A little structure helps the nervous system feel safe while still allowing room for fun, relaxation, and spontaneity.

2️⃣ Use VISUAL calendars or charts - SEEING it helps young brains comprehend and retain. (Actually it helps brains like mine too ;)

✨ Calendars
✨ Whiteboards
✨ Picture schedules
✨ Responsibility charts
✨ Countdown visuals for trips or activities

Bonus: do this TOGETHER or have the child create it (mostly) themselves.

3️⃣ Be adventurous and try new things this summer!

🧠 create a summer bucket list
🧠 list out “things to try”
🧠 create a hobbies/adventure board with pictures

My family does a 'decompression' weekend/week first because the academic demands of middle school and high school need to be let go for optimal summer enjoyment.
