Every now and then, you have to address something.

We received a 1-star review from someone who openly stated that he has NEVER been to our shop and has NEVER received a service from us.

Let’s be clear: $50 may not fit everyone’s budget, and that’s perfectly fine. There are barbers and shops at different price points for a reason.

But leaving a 1-star review on a business you’ve never stepped foot inside because you disagree with the price is something completely different.

Our prices aren’t pulled out of thin air.

They represent years of experience, countless hours behind the chair, continued education, equipment, products, overhead, sanitation, customer service, and the blood, sweat, and tears it took to build what we have.

And yes, we talk to our clients. 😂

People sit in our chairs every week who have become friends, family, business connections, and part of this shop’s community. The conversation is part of the barbershop experience for those who want it. If you want to sit quietly, we respect that too.

We welcome honest reviews.

Good or bad.

If you came here, paid us, sat in the chair, and we didn’t deliver, tell the world. We’ll own it and work to make it right.

But reviewing a business you’ve never patronized isn’t an honest review of our work.

We worked too hard building this craft and this business to pretend that doesn’t matter.

Respectfully, judge our work after you’ve experienced it.

Until then, we’ll keep cutting, serving our people, talking a little trash in the shop 😂, and standing behind the value of what we do.
