This is one of my favorite locations for an elopement: Ironwoods Beach, Maui.
These cliffs with the waves crashing against them are so brilliant. There’s blue waters with the sandy beach just a few steps away. The lighting here in the mornings and at sunset is really killer too.
Only downfall? It’s quite windy. But, if you plan accordingly it can make for some amazing pics!
Picture this: It’s just the two of you, having a moment after you say, “I do”…in Maui.

When Spencer and Stephanie asked me if I could record the ceremony live, I said, “of course”. Even though I wasn’t sure we’d have good enough service.
They wanted to have their intimate, sweet elopement but also wanted to include those who were so far away cheering them on.
I held their phone close (with just enough service), their friends and family could hear their heartfelt vows and promises.
I remember how every ceremony I officiate makes me feel. This one? I left feeling a deep love for my hubby and a reminder that there is so much more love in this world than not.
Steph and Spencer, you guys are the real deal! Thank you for sharing your love. 💕

✔️ Get married under a rainbow on an island.
We waited out the rain as long as we could and finally had a clear window. We ran out from cover and had the sweetest ceremony. Right after, we were rewarded with the most beautiful full rainbow and that perfect golden hour light.
We could’ve rescheduled, but now they have the most beautiful wedding story. These two love birds got married in the rain, under a rainbow in Maui. Pretty romantic if you ask me. ❤️

Have you ever met someone for the first time and feel like you’ve known them forever? 🌺
That often happens when I step into the room to do hair and makeup for my brides. We have so much fun chatting while I help them get ready for their big day. By the time I leave, I feel like I have a new friend!
This day with was just like that. It was a blast laughing and swapping beauty tips with a fellow artist. I’m always happy to have a new friend!

I love listening to the beautiful promises that each couple make to each other. These promises will be with the couple through all the ups and downs that life offers. I love laughing and crying with the couple as they share their hearts together.

Maui is honestly beautiful anywhere you look. But my favorite view is from upcountry Maui. It’s absolutely breathtaking.

I have the best job in the world!
Danielle was so much fun! By accentuating her natural beauty, she looks absolutely stunning. We smoothed her curls and did a low chignon to show off her beautiful gown.

I’ve been having so much fun lately doing hair and makeup for the bride and then meeting them at the ceremony location to perform their ceremony. I’ve even had the groom meet the bride and I separately at the ceremony so they can have a first look!
It’s seriously so much fun to get to know them as a couple while helping the bride feel beautiful for her big day. By the time we get to the ceremony, I feel like we are close friends and the ceremony is that much sweeter. Plus, I can make sure that the bride is all touched up and looking perfect for her photos! ☺️
