Meet Cookie, my newest foster girl. At 13 years young, she’s starting a brand-new chapter—and I get the privilege of loving her while she waits for the family who will make it forever. 🤍

Her first day has already included car rides, poolside lounging, sunshine, kisses, and making herself very comfortable at our house. ☀️💗

There’s something especially beautiful about fostering a senior dog and watching her realize she’s safe, wanted, and loved.

For now, Cookie is part of our family. When she’s ready, she will be available for adoption through Grass Roots Rescue—and somewhere out there is a very lucky person who gets to be her forever. 🥹
