Hi 👋 I’m Kendra. I am mom to a grown man and a sweet (mischievous) beagle. I play as hard as I work. Often, work and play intertwine when I am out adventuring in the backcountry with wedding couples and photographers. went from being a fun little side job to the main event of the warm season. And I love it. The people! The places! The roads! Oh my!
But I have another love. I always return to my salon home in Durango, CO.
started as a beauty school project 15 years ago .denver 🌱 It burst into existence in January of 2025.
“Burst into existence”: hard work, time, money, energy, and a bit of delusional hoping to get past what seemed impossible at first. The way being a salon owner has connected me to my community is a beautiful thing I do not take for granted.
I absolutely could not do it alone. has been the perfect salon mate and I’m so thankful for what she brings to the table.
When a new business opens its doors, know there are many hearts and hands in the foundation that hold it up. I’m thankful for every single one. Especially our clients.
I often speak of how lucky I am to connect with humans of all ages and backgrounds. I love hearing and sharing adventure tales, triumphs, challenges. I love holding safe space that allows people to be at ease, in silence or spoken words. My clients have given me a wide lens through which to view the world because they let me zoom in on what really matters. It is you I must thank for the life I get to live. And let me tell you, this life is beyond the dreams of Little Kendra. She says thank you, too. She’s stoked!!

What’s your favorite thing about getting a haircut?

I love how curls come to life after a big (or little!) chop. This gorgeous lady had no reservations about this change. She was ready for it and walked out owning her sassy new look 🤩
