Self care Sunday✨️
Journaling helps release recurring thoughts that we bottle up without realizing the impact of what unprocessed emotions do to our bodies. Writing may not come easy to everyone, and even for those of us who write frequently, we may at times feel stuck or unable to write about our feelings, our thoughts, and our emotions. It's ok. There's no perfect way or easy method to unload what we carry within. Caring for ourselves is so important and vital to our well-being. If you feel writing or journaling isn't for you, it's ok too. I invite you to grab a piece of paper and doodle, draw circles, lines, waves, write your name, whatever you feel drawn to do. Taking care of you ❤️

5 Reiki Principles

The 5 Reiki principles remind us to take each day at a time. Whatever challenges we may be enduring, "Just for Today,"suggests we release guilt, fear, self-doubt, and anger to be able to live more in the present.

Reiki is a natural and safe method to spiritual healing, to interconnectedness, to reduce stress, and to alleviate emotional discomfort. Reiki is a Japanese energy based healing modality that treats mind, body, and spirit at mental, physical,and emotional levels.

Through this self care method, we can connect with our inner knowing to release anything that is no longer serving our higher self. Some of the benefits we can experience through Reiki is empowerment, increased focus, clarity, self awareness, self love, increased self esteem, release of negative emotions, stress reduction, mind, body, spirit balance. Reiki is not a religion, nor will the persons personal belief system be affected, nor will it interfere with receiving positive results.

5 Principios de Reiki
Los 5 principios de Reiki nos recuerdan que debemos tomar cada día a la vez. Cual quiera que sean los desafíos que estemos pasando, "Sólo por hoy" sugiere que liberemos la culpa, el miedo, las dudas y la ira para poder vivir más en el presente.

Reiki es un método natural y seguro para la sanación espiritual, la interconexión, la reducción del estrés y el alivio del malestar emocional. Reiki es una modalidad curativa japonesa basada en la energía que trata la mente, el cuerpo y el espíritu a nivel mental, físico y emocional.

A través de este método de cuidado personal podemos conectarnos con nuestro conocimiento interior para liberar cualquier cosa que ya no sirva a nuestro yo superior. Algunos de los beneficios que podemos experimentar a través de Reiki son empoderamiento, mayor concentración, claridad, conciencia de uno mismo, amor propio, aumento de la autoestima, liberación de emociones negativas, reducción del estrés, equilibrio mente, cuerpo y espíritu. Reiki no es una religión, ni el sistema de creencias personal de la persona se verá afectado ni interferirá con la recepción de resultados positivos.

Whatever today brings, and however many times you need to, remind yourself to pause momentarily, take a moment to unclench your jaw, take a controlled deep breath in through your nose... as you inhale expand your belly out... if you can, pause for a second or two... exhale out your mouth slowly....tucking in your stomach as you breathe out... it takes practice. ✨️

Lo que sea que te depare el día de hoy, y cuantas veces lo necesites, recuerda hacer una pausa momentánea, tómate un momento para aflojar la mandíbula, respira profundamente de forma controlada por la nariz... mientras inhalas, expande tu abdomen hacia afuera... si puedes haz una pausa por uno o dos segundos... exhala por la boca lentamente... metiendo el estómago al momento de exhalar... requiere práctica.✨️

As seasons and weather fluctuate, have you noticed how your body reacts with the change of seasons?

For me, spring is more like sneezing season 🤧 🌾 that's one way my body fluctuates with the season change! Scratchy throat, itchy eyes, runny nose! Even though I experience those physical symptoms, this is one of my favorite times of the year. Not too cold and not too hot. I like to be able to be outdoors, not melting, and also not freezing.

Transforming negativity into a form of safe expression can be a helpful tool in managing difficult emotions. By finding a healthy outlet for negative feelings, such as writing, painting, or talking with a trusted friend, it is possible to release pent-up tension & gain a sense of relief. It's important to remember that it's OK to feel negative emotions & to express them in a safe & healthy way. With practice, transforming negativity into a form of safe expression can become a valuable coping mechanism for navigating challenging situations.

We are already 5 days into the month!! Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to participate in an agricultural event in Rio Rico, AZ. I was there along with other vendors sharing and interacting with the community. It was fun, sticky, and HOT, lol. I am forever grateful for Maritza & Malki owners of M&M Family Orchard for hosting and having us. I have to say the best part for me was being able to share with my best friend & my beautiful daughters & , this experience.
