My mom just told me something I'd never heard before. My due date was actually July 17, but I decided to make my entrance on June 21st. Because I arrived almost a month early, she made a last-minute decision to name me Summer.
I think I've spent my whole life growing into that name!
This year's birthday slowly unfolded over a couple of weeks, exactly how I like to celebrate.

I spent quality time with dear friends, received calls and messages from people close to my heart (those far away), reflected on what I'm releasing and calling in for this next chapter, enjoyed incredible meals (with a few indulgences!), treated myself to spa days, massage, a facial, fresh hair and nails, and ended it all with a forest coastal getaway from my loving husband. Life is good 🤍

This year, I also reflected on what I'm most proud of creating. At the top of that list is Ritual Skincare. And I felt gratitude for every incredible client who walks through my doors, trusting me with both their skin and their healing.

The longer I'm in this work, the more freedom I feel to channel the beauty, care, and creativity that want to come through me. It feels less like a job and more like a sacred art.

So thank you to my family, friends, clients, and everyone who has supported me along the way. Because of you, I get to live my passion with courage, and in return, I hope to offer beautiful skin and aging, deep care, and a space where people feel seen.

So... this is 47.

My intentions:
✨ Less fear of the world, and more energy focused on what I can transform and heal within my own reach.
✨ Daily rituals devoted to my skin, health, and overall well-being - allowing those rituals to evolve as I do.
✨ Saying goodbye to itchy, uncomfortable clothes... and absolutely no more uncomfortable shoes!
✨ Continuing to build healthy habits with grace instead of perfection.
✨ Showing up in my relationships with awareness & clear communication and loving intentions.
✨ Running my business with both the heart of a healer and the mind of a businesswoman.

One year down, a lifetime to go. You protect my heart and add so much beauty to my days.

Sooo many bonuses with this one, for all the little things like having a nourishing meal ready when I step through the door after a long day, to massaging my back to keeping our home life safe and grounded so my soul can be wild with living out my dreams. You do so much for me but even moreso, I love our life and our endless adventures near and far. Can't wait for the next one (today)!

I feel so blessed and I don't take a day for granted & there's no one else I'd rather walk this beautiful, chaotic planet with.

There was a moment in the treatment room when I realized, I could go deeper.

Not because people weren't getting a result. But because I kept witnessing something shift in my clients. With intentional touch, presence, and the techniques I've spent years refining, I could see it. A glimmer of something more.

A kind of glow that comes from the inside out. A level beyond a surface treatment.

So I started asking different questions. Going deeper in my own rituals, my own relationship with skincare and visibility. I began studying the nervous system more, the subtle energy body, the way our inner world shows up on our skin. Sitting with what it actually means to feel magnetic, especially as we age, as we move through cycles, as we step into new versions of ourselves.

What it truly means to be embodied.

That curiosity became a practice.
That practice became a knowing.
And that knowing became Radiance Rising.

Hi, I'm Summer
In my past, I struggled (I mean really struggled) with acne for 10 years. That experience shaped my perspective. It gave me deep compassion, showing me that skincare is more than just what's on the surface. It affects both our inner and outer world.

Now, I feel honored to support others on their journey of becoming. What I have discovered over the years of giving facials is that skincare goes far beyond the surface. We treat topically and we heal internally. For ultimate freedom we fuse the two together to create our most magnetic self.

Beauty isn't something to chase, it's something we cultivate. When this clicks, it makes the pathway clear.

For several months now I've been quietly working behind the scenes on a new evolution of my work at Ritual Skincare. One that weaves together the topical care with the deeper embodiment. An offering that supports not only the physical radiance but the energetic magnetism.
