This salt and pepper fabulousness is the result of someone that decided to quit that continual fight with coloring her grey. She is one of my relaxed clients - yes people still get relaxers and I love that we have options to choose from that fit our lifestyles - whether they be natural, relaxed, protective - you get to decide what solutions fit your life to enhance your beauty. I just had to share her glorious shades with everyone and maybe inspire others to take the leap!

I call it a SewChet - a sew in w/ crochet tendencies. No leave out . The hairline finishing is finished w/ crochet techniques to the client's liking. Hair provided by client but this is our 2nd install w/ this hair.

I love seeing women step out of their comfort zones to see a new layer of themselves. This beautiful lady has been rocking with me for years, but I could never seem to get her into a style that went past her ears - she said "Alma, it's just too much hair for me"! So we rocked her out in pixie crochets (which she wore extremely well). Recently she finally let go and decided to try something new and she is absolutely owning it. As a matter of fact she can't understand what took her so long ..and now she has a carefree new normal that fits this new phase of life.

Just a reminder ladies: We are certainly not our hair but it is an expression of who we are so don't be afraid to change your expression whenever you so desire. Sassy Salt & Pepper Seamless 180 Crochet install by me. But I am so grateful that this fabulous Lady allowed me the opportunity to incorporate her fabulous natural silver detailing into this install and I loved every moment of it! Authenticity is very important to me. She has an incredible head of healthy natural hair, but we decided to tuck it away for a little while as we get through this summer heat. Absolutely no leave out.
