As I've told you, we've run into delays that have turned into more delays and it is sadly completely outside our control. I live by the code that I take people as they present themselves until they give me a reason not to. But when they give me a reason not to, it doesn't usuallt cost me this much.
I've got four girls that haven't worked in several months as delay after delay has happened. They have children. They have bills. They WANT to work. But they also don't want to give up on their dream.
If you or anyone you know has any kind of temporary or project work that would enable them to bring in some cash while we sort this out, please reach out to me and I'll put you in touch with them.
These girls are sassy and optimistic and brilliant and creative with a work ethic and moxie I've rarely encountered. It would be amazing for them and worth it for you to help them over this last hurdle. Not with a handout, with work. What they'll bring to community later will make you so proud to have been a part of our journey.
Hello, friends. It's been a minute since we updated you. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have not been able to open. There have been some construction delays that we did not in any way anticipate.
And even though we aren't in control of this part of the journey, we haven't given up. It's just going to be a little bit longer before we can beautify and relax you. We promise it will be worth the wait.
